GlobalCAM4.5G is a compact and secure industrial 4G / LTE router for professional CCTV video surveillance applications. Provides high performance for critical cellular communication over a wide operating temperature range. Equipped with two Ethernet ports with PoE, a SIM card slot, power supply from 12V and 48V DC, and LEDs informing about the signal strength. External SMA antenna connectors allow you to connect antennas and easily find the best signal location.
The latest GlobalCAM4.5G router provides transparent and smooth wireless transmission between IP cameras and NVR recorders. It is designed for the wireless connection of many IP cameras with a registration point via the 4G/LTE Internet network. GlobalCAM4.5G is an industrial 4G/LTE router with Wi-Fi, resistant to external weather conditions. Embedded, the latest Linux system together with a very fast Quectel processor guarantees a stable connection of video streams from anywhere with speeds up to 150 Mb/s (downlink) and 50 Mb/s (uplink).

Wireless transmission from 4 IP cameras
Connect 4 IP cameras and you will receive and record a smooth video anywhere in the world. The transmission is almost the same as in a wired installation. Note: The device has 2 LAN ports and it is possible to connect other cameras via an IP network switch.
With GlobalCAM4.5G you have immediate access to video via a web browser or camera manufacturer’s application.
Registration of recordings on the NVR via the Internet
The NVR recorder can be hundreds of kilometers away from IP cameras, and it will record the full image from the cameras anyway. All streams will be sent over the Internet. Thanks to a very fast processor, GlobalCAM provides 25fps and smooth real-time video recorded on a recorder located even in another country.
Connect the cameras to the GlobalCAM4.5G router, and connect the recorder and NVR to the Internet. You can receive the image from all IP cameras via the Internet, and the image will be saved in the NVR. There is no need to use unstable clouds or P2P networks that will degrade the video quality and are fully dependent on external servers. It is enough to insert a SIM card with a fixed IP address into the router. You will get a direct connection to the cameras, and the live view and video recording will be almost identical to the cable. Additionally, you will get immediate access to the video via a dedicated camera application and a web browser.
Live access to all CCTV video surveillance on the site
– from anywhere. The CCTV installation can be located in any location in Europe. It is important that the LTE coverage in the facility is at a minimum of “two bars” LTE.
Example: To the network with the NVR connect the GlobalCAM4.5G with a SIM card with a fixed IP address. Connecting several cameras via Wi-Fi and forwarding via LTE
You can install Wi-Fi cameras wirelessly and connect them to the GlobalCAM4.5G router via Wi-Fi. All cameras will be sent via 4G / LTE to remote NVR. Isn’t it quick and easy?

Use GlobalCAM4.5G on both sides and connect two devices or entire networks transparently. A SIM card with a fixed IP address and unlimited data transmission will also be useful.

Two PoE ports
Two LAN ports with PoE function provide full power for two directly connected IP cameras. After connecting the DC 48V/2A power supply, each port will receive a PoE function with a capacity of 30W/port. Multiple cameras can be connected via any IP network switch, for example “X-CAM II Switch 8L”.
Very fast transmission from any facility
Only “two lines” of LTE range are enough for GlobalCAM4.5G to ensure smooth transmission of images from FullHD cameras. The CAMSAT router uses 100% LTE technology, which provides up to 150Mb/s reception speed and 50Mb/s sending speed. By setting the cameras to H.265 compression, about 1000-1500kbps bitrate per camera is enough to transmit one FullHD image. This allows you to connect several IP cameras and ensure smooth transmission, taking into account the large reserve of bandwidth needed, for example, during difficult weather conditions.
Ready configuration sets for Hikvision and Dahua
The router already has default settings containing all port forwarding needed to connect to cameras and recorders from brands such as Hikvision and Dahua. You no longer need the IT knowledge to start a remote connection with IP cameras. In GlobalCAM4.5G you have all the settings already configured – you just need to select and activate them. In addition, the settings panel includes example connection diagrams with cameras, examples of settings and helpful tips that will facilitate the work of every installer.

Questions frequently asked about LTE transmitters
Does GlobalCAM only transmit the video?
Every GlobalCAM model transmits everything just like over the wire. By connecting the camera via GlobalCAM, you have access not only to the live view, but also to 100% of the functions provided by the camera, e.g. video preview, playback and download of recordings, configuration, alarms, etc.
Do I need a special SIM card?
No, a standard LTE card with a large data package is enough. Such a set will allow access to cameras or recorders via clouds and P2P. If you activate a fixed IP address on your SIM card, you will get direct access to cameras and recorders. Remember that the transmission of one Full HD image throughout the month generates over 900GB of data.
What is the cost of such a device?
Until recently, such devices cost almost 700EUR and were very complicated in settings. The second series of LTE transmitters “GlobalCAM4.5G 2PoE” costs only the same as good Wi-Fi, so it can be used in any CCTV installation.
Does the antennas need clear line-of-sight to work properly?

Do I have to install the antenna high?
No, 4G/LTE transmission takes place on low radio frequencies that bounce against obstacles. It is enough for the transmitter to be located outside, e.g. outside a window or on a roof.
