CDS-6IP MultiPoE is a wireless PoE transmitter with a range of 2km

Compatible with any IP cameras powered via PoE. The unique function of wireless transmission and powering cameras via PoE at the same time is very popular among professional CCTV installers.

Free and stable 5GHz frequency

It works in the free 5.6 GHz frequency band with a power of up to 500 mW (27 dBi EIRP). The device sends all data between IP cameras and the recorder in a transparent manner – identically as through a cable.

The system with special protocols for 4k video transmission.

“CDS-6IP Multi PoE” is not an ordinary computer device for internet transmission but a high-performance transmitter for continuous and uninterrupted transmission of powerful 4k images.
The implemented audio/video protocols ensure the transmission of all HD and 4k image frames with only a slight transmission delay.

What to use as a receiver?

Due to the 4 PoE ports, the CDS-6IP MultiPoE module is used on the IP camera side. For signal reception, we recommend the “CDS-6IP eco” module which can receive signals from up to 4 such transmitters. The transmitter works with any modules of the CDS-6IP family, e.g. CDS-6IP eco, CDS-6IP SMA, etc.

Four PoE+ ports

It has 4 PoE ports for connecting 4 IP cameras. Each port has a function to power the camera, in PoE standard. Just connect a 12V, 24V or 48V power supply to the transmitter and it will power all the connected cameras via PoE.

Very simple to configure

…of the device allows even the novice users to configure the device easily. To obtain a radio connection, you only need to set the module’s IP address and operating channel (frequency). In case of doubt, you can use special HELP icons to obtain additional information in Polish and English, or use our 24/7 technical support.

Plug and Play

The configuration is done through a user-friendly www panel that is compatible with any web browser and smartphone.

Our wireless CCTV system CDS-6IP Multi PoE uses a special VIDEO BRIDGE mode, which guarantees minimal delay and stable transmission in all operating conditions.

Range and speed

The range of the CDS-6IP MultiPoE transmitter with the CDS-6IP eco module is up to 2 km at a continuous load of 20M bitrate. For a distance of 300m, the transmission speed is up to 60Mega bitrate, which enables stable transmission from up to 16 IP cameras.

You can connect up to 4 cameras without additional power supplies. We supply all IP cameras directly from our transmitter.

High resolution and high bitrate

CDS-6IP MultiPoE supports all IP cameras of any manufacturer with any resolution. The sum of continuous bitrate transmitted wirelessly is up to 20-60M bitrate.

It is enough to set only 2 necessary parameters (IP address and channel number) to get a radio connection. On special request, we provide radio units 100% set according to the connection diagram.

A specially adapted user panel allows remote viewing of many transmission parameters, among others the quality of the radio connection, range, free operating frequencies, testing the correctness of settings and many others.

Settings tester

Particularly useful function when installing radio units on very high and hard to reach objects. In the event of remote wireless access and a mistake in the CDS-6IP settings, it will automatically restore the remote access, going back to the previous correct settings.

WHAT POWER SUPPLY FOR CDS-6IP Multi PoE?

We recommend powering the CDS-6IP Multi PoE with 48V DC.

In this configuration, the CDS-6IP Multi PoE transmitter will power all IP cameras directly from PoE ports.
The power supply’s power supply depends on the power consumption of the connected IP cameras.
Example: CDS-6IP Multi PoE consumes about 16W. When connecting four 10W IP cameras, we need a power supply with a minimum capacity of 56W.
56W / 48V = PSU current = 1.16A
In the case of using cameras with a higher power, choose a correspondingly larger power supply.
Recommended CAMSAT power supplies: ZS-48/1.5 and ZS-48/2.5
