The iConstructionCAM-Crane is an advanced, wireless system mounted on a crane hook or boom, enabling the operator to have a live view from the hook’s perspective. This eliminates so-called “blind” lifting, thereby enhancing safety on the construction site. The operator gains full visibility of the surroundings and the load, minimizing the risk of collisions and accidents. The system is easy to install using strong magnets or slide-in brackets. Equipped with a battery, it allows for up to 16 hours of uninterrupted operation.
The iConstructionCAM-Crane features a 4x optical zoom, enabling the operator to zoom in precisely to control the load and surroundings.
Additionally, the crane camera includes a light and an alarm siren to warn about approaching loads. The crane operator or a worker on the ground can activate the siren using a radio remote with a range of up to 200 meters. This feature increases safety by alerting nearby workers to potential hazards.
The system is equipped with a 12-inch LCD/LED monitor, mounted in the crane cabin. The screen ensures excellent visibility in various lighting conditions, allowing the operator to maneuver precisely even in low visibility. The monitor has large, easily accessible buttons for zoom control, enabling quick image adjustments without distracting the operator from the lifting operation. With 4x optical zoom and an additional 8x digital zoom, the operator can closely monitor the load and surroundings. The system also supports split-screen functionality, allowing simultaneous display of multiple camera views, which is especially useful for complex crane operations. Additionally, the monitor can record video on a 720-hour loop, making it possible to review and analyze footage later.
